The Plaza Mayor is the heart of Madrid de los Austrias. The Arco de Cuchilleros, the Casa de la Panadería and the statue of Felipe III mark the charm of the square. 

The Puerta de Alcalá is one of the five ancient royal gates that gave access to Madrid. Its neoclassical appearance withthree arches is reminiscent of the Roman Triumphal Arches.

The Temple of Debod was a gift from Egypt to Spain for its help in saving the Nubian temples. The sunsets from this Egyptian temple are mesmerizing.
